Tubeless trailer tires? 1 Year, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
I have a trailer with old, non-standard tubeless tires. One of the tires "blew" (i.e., came off the rim) and now I'm trying to figure out how to get it back on. I tried using that green goop stuff and an air compressor, but all it did was make a huge mess. Any ideas?

You definitely do not want to use that green goop for most tubeless tires. All it does is make a huge mess.

Sometimes you can get the tire to seal with a blast of compressed air. But in my experience, if a tubeless tire falls off while in use, it will be nearly impossible to get back on easily.

The couple times this has happened to me, I just take the tire to a local tire discounter, and they'll get it back on the rim for like $10-20.
